DESCRIPTION: With its most successful season behind us and record fundraising support in 2024, the 10-year-old $2.8M Cleveland Ballet is seeking a development director to oversee (in close partnership with the CEO and external affairs) special events, grant proposal writing, and the solicitation of individuals who are passionate about the importance of a vibrant cultural arts scene in Cleveland. 

 

A successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 4 years development (or relevant) experience, preferably in the arts community, though this is not required. Enthusiasm for the importance of a culturally diverse and dynamic community is a must. Knowledge of fundraising databases is required as is proficiency with digital media platforms.
