From a young age, Pablo Picasso was captivated by the world of dance, leading to his involvement in 10 ballet productions. His artistic vision shaped stage curtains, costumes, and set designs, leaving a lasting mark on ballet’s visual language.

In this program, Cleveland Ballet presents two ballets inspired by Picasso’s Guernica and Harlequin works. These performances bring the paintings to life, reflecting their energy, colors, and emotions through movement. Additionally, Cleveland Ballet will perform excerpts from Don Quixote and Paquita.

Tickets start at $30 for lawn seating, $50 for patio seating, and $70 for a limited number of premium front row seats. Akron Art Museum members receive $10 off tickets! To claim your member discount, please contact the Akron Art Museum member services.
